This is achieved by passing the ore through magnetic separators that generate a magnetic field to attract the iron particles.

Another technique used in the beneficiation process is flotation. This involves adding certain chemicals to the ore slurry to create a froth that selectively separates the iron mineral from the gangue materials. The froth is then scraped off and the purified iron concentrate is collected.

Once the iron ore has been beneficiated, it is then ready for sale. The iron ore concentrate produced from the beneficiation process is typically shipped to steel mills, where it is further processed into steel. However, some iron ore may also be used for other purposes, such as direct reduction or direct use in blast furnaces.
